You’ll want to pause what you’re doing in the office to see this adorable photo.
Mindy Kaling celebrated the Fourth of July by giving fans another sweet glimpse of her newest family member Anne.
In a precious post shared to Instagram, The Office alum could be seen smiling at the camera as she held her baby girl during a day at the beach. A video also showed the little one grabbing her mom’s finger as they looked out at the waves.
Of course, Mindy’s older children Katherine, 6, and Spencer, 3, appeared in the post, too. One snap showed the duo playing in a yard while another featured them walking down the rocks towards the sand on the beach. Katherine was also pictured eating a cupcake she decorated.
And if you were to ask Mindy to sum up the holiday, she’d call it, “A sandy/salty skin/no makeup/freezing cold perfect waves/lots of sunscreen/frosting/outside for hours kind of Independence Day.”
The post comes about two weeks after The Mindy Project creator revealed on her birthday that she’d privately welcomed Anne a few months ago.
“In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne,” Mindy wrote on Instagram June 24, posting a throwback from her pregnancy along with the first picture of her youngest. “She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined.”
And she reflected on how becoming a mom has changed her world.
“When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life,” the 45-year-old continued. “I’m so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline.”
